Plot still pending…

The council are still trying to decide which allotment plot we’ve been allocated. Whilst I’m waiting to find out I thought it might be nice to share some photographs of what I managed to grow in my garden this year.

As we’re in rented accommodation with a gravel garden I have had to grow my plants in pots. Despite this I’ve still managed to grow a fair amount of produce; tomatoes, strawberries, carrots, cucumbers, courgettes, even a pumpkin!

So here we go…

Delphiniums. Not edible, but beautiful.
Painted Lady butterfly on my cucumber.
Teeny and tasty carrots.
Stunning pumpkin flowers.

I think it’s lovely that you can grow so much in pots. It just goes to show that you don’t need a huge garden to grow your own.
